UNDER HUDEN
You, that have lived a long life, paralysed in one arm and use all your energy to participate. You, with your whole life in front of you, with a problem sitting still, that takes your time to show the elderly how to place the hand.
UNDER HUDEN
Generations and transformations - Performance and workshop
In Under Huden, three acrobats play with the body's possible transformations. Thoughts about the future and the body's limitations are part of a universe that takes place on a stage floor consisting of puzzle pieces that are constantly moved, creating a stage in perpetual change. Is this change perhaps the only constant?
How do we relate to generations, and the transition between them? What are the bodily transformations that time inflicts on us, and how do we experience these?
The project is a performance and workshops for young audiences and the elderly in nursing homes, but is also played for people of all ages and generations. With this we want to create awareness of our own body and mind, explore possibilities and challenge our own boundaries. What expectations do we have for the body and our own physique throughout life?
